Vertical Access assisted Joseph Oppermann with an interior and exterior conditions survey of the Basilica of Saint Lawrence in Asheville, North Carolina, using a combination of UAV and rope access to inspect the exterior facade, the central bay, Guastavino tile, terra cotta, and brick components. We also evaluated the extent and pattern of moisture within the wall materials using an infrared camera. The Basilica of Saint Lawrence has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978.
